I have enjoyed watching your performances. Your enthusiasm, humor and dramatic talents far exceed the younger stars of today. Why you didn't recieve an Oscar nomination for Portait in Black, I will never understand. Great performance!! But, my favorites are the ones you and Bobby were in together. I guess it is because you emanated the love between each other and played the characters so well together. There will never be another couple like you and Bobby. God blessed you both with a wonderful talent to entertain the public and I am very thankful, it happened in my life time. I introduced my daughter to your movies when she was 16 and we watched "A Summer Place" together. She has purchased several more of your movies, as well as Troy's. She cried and cried when he passed away last year; much like her Mother did when God took Bobby, much too early. But, we can still enjoy Mother and Daughter evenings at the Movies by watching our favorite Sandra Dee films. She loves all the Tammy and Gidget films, too.
